SamplesMath Antics is a series of basic math videos created by Rob and Jeremy of Math Plus Motion, LLC. It’s also a website that offers access to practice materials for paid members.
Our math lessons are organized by topic, not by grade level. But it may help to know that most of the topics we currently teach are typically covered between 3rd and 8th grade. Older students may find our lessons helpful for review.
No. Math Antics is not a complete curriculum for any grade. It’s best to use our website as a supplement to more comprehensive resources.
No. Our video collection is limited to basic math and we don’t have any High School or College level material. We don’t have plans to expand into higher math at this time.
Math Antics is not designed to prepare you for any specific exam or certification. You can use it to help you quickly review basic math, but you should use it alongside a book or program designed specifically for your exam.
Not intentionally. We don't attempt to align with any particular math standards.
All topics we teach are clearly listed on the home page. If you don’t see a math topic you need in that list, then we haven’t made a video about it yet.
A membership gives you access to the print-based Exercises and Worksheets that go with our free video lessons. You can see what those materials are like on our samples page.
No, the practice materials that are available through our paid membership are print-based PDFs. You will need to print them out or copy them to scratch paper as you would from a math book.
No, at this time we do not have any quizzes or tests on our website.

Paid memberships are the way we license use of our content to individuals according to our terms of use. We ask that teachers share our content only with your own students that are part of your classroom. We ask that parents share our content only with members of your own household.
No. Our accounts are very basic and are designed for individual use by parents, students or teachers.
No. We have a 100% online payment system and we don’t accept P.O.s or check based payments.
No. We only accept online, card-based payments. If you do not have a credit card, you might consider purchasing a pre-paid Visa card that can be used for online transactions.
Yes. Our website uses SSL and all online payments are securely processed by the third-party company Stripe, Inc. Your financial information is handled by Stripe and is not stored on our servers.
Probably. We are a U.S. company, but the payment company we use (Stripe, Inc.) has good international support for payment cards associated with Visa or MasterCard. Please note that all transactions are in U.S. Dollars and that your local bank may charge fees for international purchases.
Yes! Memberships expire 1-year from the date you sign up. (It’s not based on the calendar year.)
No. After a year has passed, your membership will simply expire. You will not be charged again unless you manually renew your membership.
Simply log into your account as usual. You will be notified that the membership has expired, and will be given the option to renew. Simply follow the prompts given. You can also renew prior to the expiration date from the “my account” page.
Yes. If you are not satisfied with your Math Antics membership for any reason, simply send us an email request to within the first 30 days and we will gladly issue a full refund.
We use Apple Motion to create all of the animated graphics in our videos. We use Adobe Premiere for editing and compositing. We use Adobe Audition and Apple Logic X for audio and sound effects placement.
Yes, all of our Video Lessons and Exercise Videos have Closed Captions. You can enable them in the video player's option menu.
No. At this time, our content is only available in English. However, because we have Closed Captions available on our YouTube Channel, the auto-translate features built into the YouTube video player may be helpful.
No. Math Antics videos are only available via online streaming.
Currently we get our shirts through Zazzle which prints them 'on demand' instead of doing dozens at a time. Because of that, they are pretty expensive. Eventually we hope to have a better option, but for now, here’s the link to the shirts on the Zazzle store: www.zazzle.com/mathantics
The only other math resources that we routinely recommend are www.khanacademy.org and www.mathisfun.com
