How to share Math Antics content with your students in a distance learning environment:

Videos Lessons

Remember that all of our video lessons are free to watch on our website and on our YouTube channel. Students do not need a membership to watch them. You can direct them to watch any of those videos simply by copying and pasting the URL to the specific video you’re interested in. We’d appreciate you using the YouTube links if possible to reduce our bandwidth usage and cost.

Print based Exercises and Worksheets

These are available to Math Antics Members and are typically distributed as physical handouts. However, Members may also distribute them to their students via electronic means as long as you do so in a way that does not make them available to the general public. For example, acceptable methods of distribution would be attaching them to an email to your students, or making them available to download from your Google Classroom that is only accessible by your own students.

Exercise Videos

Currently, the best way to share these resources with your students at home is to copy and paste the URL from your browser when you are logged in and viewing the Exercise Video that you want to share. When students follow the link, they will be able to get to the video page to see the Exercise Video, even though they are not logged in.

Although it’s not ideal, if the above methods of sharing will not work for you and you feel these extreme circumstances warrant it, you could temporarily share your login information with your students at home. They will not have access to any information besides the login credentials, so this would probably not be a security concern for you unless you don’t want students to know your email address. Once we release a feature to share the whole site with your student via an email link, sharing login info would not be necessary.
